We are not a business that happens to release black metal. We are a black metal label that happens to keep the lights off.
Our creed
Black metal was never meant to be comfortable. It was meant to be a refusal — of the market, of the trend cycle, of the polite consensus that art should be pleasant.
Every release we press is chosen for one reason: it made us feel something we could not explain. We do not chase numbers. We do not repress. We do not soften the artwork for distribution.
The shop exists to fund the next pressing, nothing more. What you buy here goes directly into the next record.

2009
The first tape
MALEDICTUM begins as a cassette-only imprint run from a basement in the north. Fifty copies, hand-dubbed, gone in a week.
2013
The vault
A permanent pressing plant partnership is formed. Every release from here on is pressed once and never repressed.
2018
Beyond the north
Distribution opens to the world. The catalogue reaches four continents without a single advertisement.

Still uncompromised
Fifteen years on, the rule holds: we release only what we would listen to in the dark, alone.
